Lesson Format
Beginners are taught the essentials of grooming, equipment and how to tack-up their horse prior to their ride. They are also taught how to properly care for the horse after a ride, including returning the horse to its stall or turn-out. The time for this instruction is part of the lesson session.
Once riders are competent and skilled to care for their lesson horse, they are responsible for tacking up and post-ride care.
Riders who own their horse, or who lease, are part of a grooming package with Billings Equestrian which defines care responsibilities and lesson duration.
