Samantha and her team focus on developing healthy bodies and minds in both riders and horses through a complete horsemanship approach to lessons and training. Her goal is always to understand her student's personal dreams and to make them real during every ride.
Sam's methods focus on quality of riding, excellence of movements and helping riders to reach their competitive and level advancement goals without undue stress to the rider and horse. Her approach is both encompassing and practical in its expectations for learning and growth by rider and horse. What does that look like?
Continuous, sustainable improvement at an individualized pace that is tailored for each horse and rider
Finding the best equestrian discipline for each horse and rider pairing: dressage, western sports, trail riding, competing or not.
Beginners are taught the essentials of grooming, equipment and how to tack-up their horse prior to their ride. They are also taught how to properly care for the horse after a ride, including returning the horse to its stall or turn-out. The time for this instruction is part of the lesson session.
Once riders are competent and skilled to care for their lesson horse, they are responsible for tacking up and post-ride care.
Riders who own their horse, or who lease, are part of a grooming package with Billings Equestrian which defines care responsibilities and lesson duration.
Billings Equestrian prides itself on offering affordable lessons and a wide range of lesson packages and options. Sam also hosts a number of fun, family oriented events throughout the year. Sam For more information, please call or email Samantha. Some of her services include:
